Black Cohosh Tincture

Black Cohosh is traditionally used to support women’s health, it has been known for relieving symptoms of meno-pause, including hot flashes, relief for menstrual cramps, lowering blood pressure and LDL cholesterol levels and promoting a healthy cardio-vascular system.

Warning: Because of its estrogen-like effect, pregnant women or those who are lactating should not use the herb.

Black cohosh stimulates uterine contractions. It is contraindicated in early pregnancy but can be used during last weeks of pregnancy or during labor. In large doses it can cause headaches, dizziness, irritation of the central nervous system, nausea, & vomiting.

While plants and herbs are from nature they should still be used with care and caution. Research and get to know the herbs and plants you want to use.
